 மகன் எழிலரசன்

குழந்தைகளுக்கு குறளமுதம்!

குறள் 29:

ஈன்ற பொழுதின் பெரிதுவக்கும் தன்மகனைச்

சான்றோன் எனக்கேட்ட தாய். (69).

தமிழ்வழிக் கல்வி படித்தவன்தான்!

ஆங்கிலப் பாடத் திட்டங்கள்

திணற வைத்த கல்லூரி

படிப்பையும் இங்கே நிறைவுசெய்தான்!

கணினித் துறையில் கால்பதித்தான்

பணியின் நிமித்தம் அமெரிக்கா

எல்லாம் சென்று வந்துவிட்டான்

கொழுந்து விட்ட லட்சியத்தீ

காட்டிய ஒளியில் பயணித்தான்

தனியாய் நிறுவனம் தொடங்கிவிட்டான்

என்னால் முடியும் கொள்கையுடன்

நிறுவன வளர்ச்சி கண்டுவிட்டான்

ஒருநாள் அழைத்தான் பெற்றோரை

தனது நிறுவன வளர்ச்சியினை

பெருமிதம் கொண்டே  காட்டிநின்றான்

தாயைப் பார்த்தான் பணிவுடனே

தாயும் பார்த்தாள் மகிழ்ந்தேதான்

பெற்ற பொழுதினும் தாய்மகிழ்ந்தாள்!

குழுவின் உழைப்பை வாழ்த்திநின்றாள்

உணர்ச்சிப் பிழம்பாய்ப் பெற்றோர்கள்!

குறளின் பொருளோ இதுதானே!

தாயும் மெச்சும் புகழ்தானே!

She looked back, joy overflowing.

She smiled—

as happy as the moment she bore him.

She praised the collective toil,

while parents stood,

a living flame of emotion.

Is this not the meaning of the Kural?

The praise that even a mother celebrates?

The fame that crowns her joy?
