அழகும் ஒளியும்
Beauty and light
தன்னகம் கொண்டாலும்
Though it is within
விண்மீனின் பெருமை 
Pride of Stars is there
வானில் இருந்தாலே
If they are in the sky!
செம்மையும் மனமும் 
Refinement and.mind
கொண்டது என் சிகப்பு ரோஜா
Have my Red rose
அதன்பெருமை 
Its pride is
மங்கையின் கூந்தலிலே
In the Damsel plait
வண்டுகள் புவியில் 
Bees in the world
சுற்றி வலம்வந்தாலும்
Though they fly around
தேன்சிந்தும் மலரிலேதான்
It is in the nectar oriented flower!
மகிழ்ச்சி
Happiness!
நிலவு மங்கை நீங்கா
Moon like Damsel
ஒளிசிந்தினாலும்
Spills the light
தன் சுற்றத்துடன் 
If they are with their kith and kin
வானுலகில்தான் மகிழ்வு
In the sky only they are happy!
அடைந்து புன்னகையை 
They spread the smile
இதழ்க்கடையில் விரிக்கிறது
In their lips
எத்தனை செல்வங்கள்
How many Riches
 உலகின் எந்த
In this world happens
மூலையில் சிதறிக் 
To scatter in the corners
கிடந்தாலும் மங்கை
