தலையிலே சும்மாடு! சும்மாடு மேலே

கலைவண்ணக் கூடையாம்! கூடைக்குள் பானை

தளதள வென்ற தயிருண்டு! அந்தத்

தயிரை அளக்க அலுமினியந் தன்னில்

குவளை  யுடனே தலையிலே வைத்து

தயிரோ. தயிரென்று கூவியே நாளும்

தயிர்விற்கும் தையலைப் பார
