மகன் தந்தைக் காற்றும் உதவி இவன்தந்தை

என்நோற்றான் கொல்லெனும் சொல். 

கணினித் துறையில் முன்னேறி

காசும் பணமும் சேர்த்தேதான்

வளமுடன் வாழ்வான் என்றேதான்

பெற்றோர் நண்பர் சுற்றத்தார்

நினைத்தே மகிழ்ந்த நேரத்தில்

குறும்படப்  போட்டியில் கலப்பதற்கு

இருந்த வேலையை உதறிவிட்டு

முழுமூச் சாக இறங்கிவிட்டான்!

வென்றான் சாதனை படைத்தான் !

வாழ்த்தி மகிழ்ந்தார் குடும்பத்தார்!

முன்னனு பவமே இல்லாமல்

கலைத்துறைக் குள்ளே நுழைந்துவிட்டான்!

கையைப் பிசைந்தே நின்றிருந்தோம்!

நான்கு படங்கள் வெற்றிபெற

ஊக்கம் கொண்டான் வேகமுடன்

ஐந்தாம் படமோ சிகரத்தில்!

இயக்குந ராகத் திகழ்கின்றான்!

இமாலய சாதனை புரிகின்றான்!

உலகம் போற்ற உயர்ந்துவிட்டான்!

இவனது தந்தையும் தாயுமிங்கே

பெறுவதற் கென்ன தவம்செய்தார்?

எட்டுத் திசையும்  வாழ்த்துமழை!

மகனோ தந்தைக்குக் காட்டிவிட்டான்

அகம்நிறை நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்து!

பெருமிதம் கொண்டே  காட்டிநின்றான்

தாயைப் பார்த்தான் பணிவுடனே

தாயும் பார்த்தாள் மகிழ்ந்தேதான்

பெற்ற பொழுதினும் தாய்மகிழ்ந்தாள்!

குழுவின் உழைப்பை வாழ்த்திநின்றாள்

உணர்ச்சிப் பிழம்பாய்ப் பெற்றோர்கள்!

குறளின் பொருளோ இதுதானே!
